During surgery around the eye, medical term "Blepharoplasty", two areas need to be separated from one another: The so-called drooping lid and hidden lid in the upper lid region and the classical lower lid problem in lachrymal sacs.

Treatment for drooping lids or hidden lids
If only excess skin needs to be handled in the drooping or hidden lid, this excess skin is removed surgically. The operation is done through radio surgery which ensures an exact cut as well as less bleeding. The scar is hardly visible. Surplus fat tissue can be likewise removed.

Treatment for lachrymal sacs
Lachrymal sacs are produced through larger fat deposits in the eye. This condition is treated by removing surplus fat, skin and any musculature with an inconspicuous cut from the edge of the lower lid. For specific prerequisites, the operation can also be carried out from inside through the connective skin.
