Liposuction is one of the most frequently used treatments in aesthetic plastic surgery. By incorporating the latest scientific knowledge, Prof. Albert K. Hofmann developed the Bodyarchitecture® method. It is excellent for treating cellulite. In the Bodyarchitecture® method, patients face less pain, the healing is quicker, the skin is tightened optimum and owing to the extremely tissue-friendly treatment, a combination with lifting operations is possible in one session.

The method in detail: In the Bodyarchitecture® method, the fat tissue is infiltrated with a special liquid whereby the fat cells swell. The connective diaphragm where the fat cells are located stretches, the blood vessels draw together and the nerves are anaesthetised. The "pre-treated" fat cells are now liquefied with ultrasound. The danger of burns and tissue damage is a thing of the past with this technology, as the ultrasound energy passes through the tissue computer-controlled. The liquefied fat is then easily drawn out using fine cannulas. We often combine the Bodyarchitecture® method with the PermFat®-Grafting method.

Even in the Bodyarchitecture® method, post-treatment in the form of compression treatments is necessary for three to four weeks.
